Youth Rosters 2025
Roster sizes are limited this season.  Once rosters are full, players will be added to a waitlist.  We will make every effort to form teams for wait-listed players but there are no guarantees.   
 
Game Day Requirements 2025
In the past, we have asked for volunteers to help cover essential game day responsibilities.  Unfortunately, we have come up short in meeting our requirements.  The club is now requiring a minimum of two game day service credits per registered player.  These credits can earned by players or parents and typically involve easy game day tasks.  The club will distribute lists of available credit earning activities allowing players/parents to sign-up for events that fit their schedule.  Any unfilled events will be randomly filled by those who fail to sign-up.  An option to opt out of the service requirement for a donation will be provided in each registration.

Age Based Teams
Age based youth teams.  The Janesville Lacrosse Club organizes youth teams by age and "not" grade.  This policy follows the decisions by the Wisconsin Lacrosse Federation and Badgerland Lacrosse Association to adopt US Lacrosse recommended age based guidelines.
 
The US Lacrosse age based youth guidelines were developed to provide a safer playing environment by keeping youth players (ages 7-15) grouped on teams that strive to limit the maximum age difference between players in a youth game to no more than twenty-four (24) months.  US Lacrosse uses August 31 (preceding the season) as the cut-off date when deterring age.  Example: To be eligible for a 12U (12 and Under), a player must be 12 years or younger on August 31, 2024.   
 
High School Teams
The Janesville Lacrosse Team no longer fields high school teams. High school players from Janesville Craig, Janesville Parker, Milton, and Fort Atkinson are able to play on Co-op teams hosted by Janesville Craig. Please reach out to your athletic director if you are interested in playing high school lacrosse.
